Especially in the rule of ten method, we can analysis article more quickly than before.
How it has effected me in my daily life.?
This subject has taught me how to understand something more faster and create good critical thinking about it.
For example, why is the ice melting?
Logically because heat is consuming it.
It is the same in critical literacy but the way of thinking is more critical and a situation is not about a melting ice but situations more challenging and exciting like for example, The Years of Adolf Hitler facing the Jews, The perception of Mahathir Mohamed towards Malays and many more.
This subject could not possibly make us students consider it boring because it makes us think logically with back up evidence and it makes us speak out our stand and what we believe in.
It help us to speak out what we really want to point out. Helps us voice out out perception.
Through helping us voice out what we truly believe, it somehow makes us more confident.
WHAT IS CRITICAL LITERACY BASED ON 5 MOTHS LEARNING..?
We can think of ideas and information by ourselves but in terms of right and wrong we have to think out of the box and logically. Everyone can have their own stand. The differences is just the strength of the stand. In other words, Critical Literacy is the ability to read with comprehension, think critically about a content, write in a manner appropriate to specific stands perspective and opinions. Therefore, critical literacy is a skill that is very useful.
Lastly, I believe by learning this subject, it has made me more confident in my opinion, stand and my belief. I can analyze articles well after this and critical literacy last but not least has help me speak out want i really want to say.
5 Month of learning this subject has proven that my brain has the power to do more than its size.
Thinking Critically has taught to think hard, straight will full proof evidence.
